My role at Rātā Foundation is Head of Community Investment. I lead the amazing team that looks after all aspects of our community investment work. This includes our community funding, strategic partnerships, relationships with diverse communities, learning through research, and telling the stories of the incredible mahi of organisations we support.

Kate hails from Devon in the UK but has lived in her adopted New Zealand for over twenty years. Kate has always loved learning about other cultures and languages. She is on a cultural journey learning Te Reo and deepening her understanding of Aoteaora's rich bi-cultural heritage through her work at Rātā as Head of Community Investment. Her love of singing is legendary in the office, and she often leads the team in our Waiata.
Kate has a strong background in grassroots community philanthropy and strategic funding, both here and in the UK. She is passionate about creating the conditions which empower people and whānau to affect inter-generational social change.
