My Role

My role at Rātā Foundation is Strategic Communications Manager. I manage and lead the development of the Rātā brand, supporting the Chief Executive and Board with media, relationship management, and strategic communications.

About Tarns

Communications is not just a job too Tarns – it provides the opportunity to champion the Rātā brand through the intentional use of communications to bring the Rātā purpose to life and engage stakeholders in its story.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family in the Marlborough Sounds and trying out new hobbies – on the go now are bridge and golf.

She likes being a storyteller because, behind every grant Rātā makes, there is a great story about participation, collaboration, connection, and transformation waiting to be told.
