Sandy Morton
People and Operations Manager
My role at Rātā Foundation is Grants Advisor. I support community organisations by assessing their funding applications to our responsive programmes (small and large grants), offering personalised advice, and guiding them through our priorities.
Walking in the Port Hills with her dog and partner is a 'must-do' for Millie, both for her well-being and pure relaxation. Also, on her list of 'must-do's" is travelling and experiencing different cultures – at home and abroad.
Millie says the opportunity to work in an organisation that makes a tangible positive impact on the community drew her to Rātā. She loves learning about all the incredible mahi happening and seeing first-hand how many people are working hard on behalf of their community to make a difference. With her love of the outdoors, Millie is passionate about the environment and ensuring we leave clean waterways and fresh air for future generations.
