What motivated you to be involved with the Rātā Foundation Board?

My mother, Fran, was a Trustee in the 1990’s and I saw first-hand how she was able to help the community by funding great new ideas and projects – I hope to carry this on!

What are you most passionate about supporting in the community?

I am very interested in both housing and learning. I would like to see how we can help fund community housing as it is a massive issue for us all. Likewise, with learning, I think there are some fantastic initiatives that need our support.

What, to you, is one of Rātā Foundations’ greatest achievements and or projects?

As an accountant, I am very impressed with the incredible level of giving, $500 million, while still maintaining a large putea of close to $600m to enable grants and support for future generations.

I would like to thank all the Trustees that have gone before for all their incredible mahi!
