My Role

My role at Rātā Foundation is Executive Assistant/Office Administrator. I support our Chief Executive, Leighton Evans. I also support our Trustees (arrangements for all governance meetings, travel, and professional development bookings) and general office administration.

About Rachael

Rachael was drawn to Rātā as she was looking for a role with heart and purpose where she could play a small part in helping the team achieve amazing feats in the communities we serve.

Away from work, Rachael volunteers with the Christchurch Aunties as a delivery driver, supporting women and children affected by family violence. She enjoys spending time with her boys, whether on a quick camping trip or a meal together and loves to escape into nature to recharge. A long walk in the hills above Tai Tapu, or being on or near the ocean, helps to clear her mind. Because of this, Rachael is also passionate about helping children have opportunities to be involved in sports and enjoy being outdoors, exercising, and connecting.
