Leighton talks about what Rātā has learned on its cultural journey and how it has changed how Rātā sees itself.  The change has extended to how Rātā works with the community to build relationships and gain access to communities of need previously closed off to them.

He says that Rātā has taken what they have learned walking alongside Māori to guide how the organisation works with all communities.

He also discusses how Rātā has grown its leadership capacity, making sure that as leaders, they understand what we're doing and why they are doing it.
