Governance Bytes 2023: #5 Toeing the Line - Knowing your legal obligations

Governance

TOEING THE LINE - KNOWING YOUR LEGAL OBLIGATIONS Community and not-for-profit organisations must operate within the law and there are specific laws around governance that all new Board members should be aware of. In this, session we will look at the compliance requirements and obligations of individuals and boards, legal structures, and ways of managing conflicts of interest, to ensure you and your organisation stays on the right side of the law.

Governance Bytes are a series of workshops where we take a dive into topics relevant for those who are on a board or wish to be on a board of a community / not for profit organisation.
