Wendy describes herself as an outdoorsy-type; she loves gardening, hiking in the Port Hills, rock and mountain climbing – you name it. She is always up for an adventure, and says that’s why her house is in need of a bit of a spring clean!
Wendy is inspired by passionate people– those who use their skills and commitment to motivate others, to make things happen, and to make a positive difference to other peoples’ lives. She loves being a part of the Rātā whānau and is humbled to observe and learn about the great work carried out by volunteers across the country.
