Community Law Canterbury - New Incorporated Societies Act: Introduction to the constitution builder tool
Training
This workshop is one of a series that Community Law Canterbury is running about the new law. These workshops are for people who want to know a bit more about the Incorporated Societies Act and, in particular, the constitution builder tool – the free online tool the Registrar has created that groups can use to write a new constitution.
Who is this workshop for?
These workshops are for people who want to know a bit more about the Incorporated Societies Act and, in particular, the constitution builder tool – the free online tool the Registrar has created that groups can use to write a new constitution. No preparation is required – we just discuss the tool and work our way through each section. This option would suit people who want to know about the constitution builder tool but who haven’t had a chance to use it (or would just like to find out more about it).
Who can attend?
Anyone who is a volunteer Committee/Board member of a local incorporated society, (unless they are a lawyer, accountant, fundraiser or paid advisor to the sector). Limit 2 per group. Where necessary, priority will be given to Community Law Canterbury clients and groups funded by the Rātā Foundation.
